Turbotax sucks ass unless you have a simple situation with a w2 and maybe a couple of 1099s, beyond that it's a nightmare to use (for me).

I don't disagree with you, but also I'm not sure I have issue with this new paradigm.

Not everything NFT related is speculative. Use cases include things like gaming as well. Also, the majority of NFT sales are not these insane sums. A lot are happening in the $10-$200 range and it's a way for people with money to spend

Hard work over time never really guaranteed success to begin with. Luck has always been a factor on top of that hard work. Luck is also enough on its own.

I'm a "cryptoartist" one one of the curated NFT platforms. I've always had creative hobbies, and over the years have taken time off of my career to try and make a living from art (LOL impossible). Now this NFT thing come

For me personally, I find a lot of the DeFi and NFT stuff fascinating. Most of it is happening on Ethereum. I'm not too familiar with the institutional side of blockchain, but I really like opensea and the many uniswap clones.

How exactly does bitcoin liberate you from the shit that went down in the last year, besides the fact that luck, manipulation, and celebrity shilling propelled it to new heights. Not to mention that your taxes will be astronomical, and it&#

Even if they do, they have major solvency/liquidity issues as a result of this fiasco and they are feeling the pressure. Folks are moving to other brokerages in large quantities.

This whole essay is asinine and offers no constructive feedback. We are better off with Fauci being a soft mascot than getting fired or pushed out and some Trump puppet having taken his place.

I don't think it's ignorant, it's just another framework of looking at the world. Consider a chessboard that's in the middle of a game. The moves up to that point don't matter. Only the current state of the board ma

I think crypto requires low level interactions for things like this. Tooling is good for abstracting payments, but if you're using it and don't understand what's happening under the hood there are so many pitfalls.

Random internet meanie aside, if this happened to a friend or a family member, I would absolutely try to explain to them that they were an idiot for putting their life savings into crypto in the first place.
