The person complaining about saying "dude" already lowered the tone of the drasticaly debate by saying, apparently without a hint of irony, "stop thinking like a poor person." So I agree there's a lot of low qualit

Also chiming in here, it's not a big deal at all to call someone "dude", because this isn't a formal debate, it's just a web forum.

So you have no evidence or reasoning whatsoever, just an analogy involving a car and vibes. That macroeconomics is difficult is no reason to just start doing random shit. I'm not asking for "indisputable hard evidence", but

Well yeah that's why Ponzi schemes suck. Why should it be acceptable to profit from a Ponzi scheme? It's not your money at that point, whether you realise it or not.

Any evidence for your claim that deflation following a period of inflation has fewer (or none) of the harms associated with deflation? Any reason to believe that central bankers are in a good position to fine tune to get just the right amo

Right, but central bankers aren't magicians, they thought this inflation was transitory, it's probably best not to play with fire and start deliberately aiming for deflation, given how dangerous deflation can be. Deflation is bad

I know it's not a gender mistake, but a mistake in the case is generally more meaningful than a mistake in the gender. A mistake in gender is even less important. I agree one should try . I certainly try . I can often look at a w

Getting the wrong case for an article or picking the wrong conjugated form for the verb is about as far from being a "grave grammatical mistake" as can be. Yes it matters, no it's not remotely reasonable or acceptable to jus

I don't really agree, when you insist on being known mononymously you have to accept that you are inviting ridicule.

Some examples he used are never said. I would say something like "perchance" very rarely, and "Good morrow" never. "Would you mind", well I suppose we say this all the time.

I guess you're going for the vested interests or conspiracy angle, but it's not necessarily reasonable, e.g. I'd love to hear more from him, I had no interest in FTX or this "SBF" guy until it crashed.
