what, an ejector to parachute the pilots, fuck the passengers? that would be pretty funny. It does save the airline pilot replacement training though. Or maybe an ejector to throw just the bad pilot out?

this has never been done for any sustained period in any society ever, despite incentives of all kinds that were tried in the past. All human experience so far has been: this trend is irreversible. But, you came up with this random idea tha

that really doesn't explain why they keep having less kids, not more. Since the 80's their fertility rate dropped by some 30% but i doubt the 80's there were any less cutthroat or careerist than today.

yeah "better programmer overall" seems rather vague. The OP seems to be asking specifically "is it even worth it to stay in JS anymore", not "how do i become a well-rounded individual". I personally prefer to h

Technically, you're supposed to do a 410 or a 404, but when some pages being deleted have those extremely valuable old high-reputation backlinks, it's just wasteful, so i'd say it's better to redirect, to the "next

it 100% depends on the project and is demonstrably false for many things I participated in. For example, if you are a fintech integrating with a bank - which is very important for moving money cheaply and being able to make the ends meet -

even if it does, a bunch of accessible data you can develop with is a godsend. Even if it were a completely commercial service, i'd still be happy to have some competition over the couple of monopolies that are left in this space.
