I live in Mt Vernon and as DC and Greenbelt aren't especially convenient for me, I'd be willing to meet with some fellow pythonistas if anyone is interested. Working remotely, I also spend a few hours at City Cafe most days if anyone just w

There is an apostrophe in that link that HN is apparently stripping out. Just go the the front page of the wiki and you'll see the link.

That sure is an enterprise test runner they've got there, couldn't they come up with something more like http://html5test.com/ ?

I don't see why any of this would affect piracy, beyond perhaps saving someone the step of ripping a Screener DVD.

Why? Linux devs have already chosen, and when compared to the potential Windows developer pool they are fairly insignificant in number, so why devote resources to changing their minds when you could devote resources to convincing current W

It works in OSX fine, though I get your point. Honestly though, I don't think Microsoft is too interested in attracting Linux devs.

Announcing a new color would be on thing, but deliberately holding back a product that was supposed to be available months ago sounds like a horrible idea to me and I don't think anyone would fall for it.

You're probably mostly right, but I don't think a porn site is likely to advertise adoption of HTML5, so you might try looking at the mobile sites they serve up to see what tech they're using. I suspect MeFeedia doesn't index porn sites, bu

I stopped going back to Firebug and stuck with Safari about a year ago. I still fire up Firefox on occasion to compare errors when I'm really stumped, but it's more a matter of getting another perspective than it is a shortcoming in the We

I love the idea of the Mac App store, however I'm not sure some indie devs will like taking a 30% hit. For example, would TextMate want to be here? Also, it's not like CS5 is going to show up in the Mac App Store.
