(ST-) MRAM sounds much beter than 3D Xpoint to a layman like me (speed and endurance like DRAM, so better than Xpoint), and seems to ship already from a small company, why is Xpoint the focus? Better marketing?

Looking forward to the video of the talk about the new garbage collector. How long does it usually take for the videos of Scala Days to be uploaded? btw: since Kotlin also seems to go native, would there be a way to collaborate in some area

Reference card (1060) vs overlocked card (580). Looking at multiple review sites, including international ones like Computerbase, PCGH.de etc, and comparing overlocked 1060 vs overclocked 480/580 the difference is ~50-60 watt. Not good

Threadripper (16c/32t, quad channel memory, 44? PCIe 3.0 lanes) will probably be the Workstation platform. Wouldn't AMD need to license Thunderbolt from Intel? There are repeatedly rumors about a license agreement between Intel an

If the rumors [0][1] about Ryzen 9 (12 and 16 core HEDT CPU's for under 1000$) are true, and Naples starts at a similar price point things could get really interesting. [0] https://twitter.com/CPCHardware/status&#x

Since TDP is not power consumption, the GTX 1070 will most likely consume less power than your CPU because it has much better power saving features. Also, since CPU's are idle more of the time than under load the savings by using a new

Yeah, I hope openshift online will support it when they launch the next version (when ever that will happen... some roadmap would be nice :O).

Nice, now I'm wondering why Intel doesn't slap 128MB EDRAM on an Kaby Lake i7 4 core 8 thread and then release it for the enthusiast platform x99. Maybe even select chips to make it possible to release them at 5ghz. Of course with

What means validated in this case? It's not certified by AMD to work, so depending on the memory and motherboard combination it could work, or if you are unlucky it doesn't work? btw: someone asked about coreboot: https:/&#x
