I'm not totally sure what the important distinction is here. For many languages the important thing is already a post-parsing data structure, that's what any compilation output or byte code is. You obviously want to keep the raw s

I agree that from a scientific standpoint, of course correlation isn't causation and more evidence is needed. But emphasizing this point feels uselessly contrarian. There's not a doubt in my mind that social media is a disaster fo

I read a convincing article a while back about these incidents in Cuba, by a neurologist saying this is all totally consistent with stress triggered neurologic incidents, and the microwave/sonic weapon stuff was all extraordinary claim

I remember this article from a year ago. It's a beautiful piece of prose that really stuck with me, thanks for sharing this again. The first year of my PhD program is ending, and I feel like I've been adrift the whole time: floati

Wishing OP the best, and maybe your workflow is good for you, but 1000+ tabs is insane to me. I don't understand what you could possibly need 1000 tabs for. I'm certainly guilty of keeping too many tabs open I'll never read,

A central observation of modern monetary theory is that all (federal) govt spending is done that way but the fed: the fed just conjures 1 bajillion $ into Lockheed's account, and taxes to "pay for" govt spending happen later.
