Everyone has there own preferences, but I'd look into uv if I were you. It allows you to specify the python version, and for scripts you can even specify the python version as part of the shebang

Oooo entirely agree, I do suspect he'd come down on the "law is law" side however it's not clear to me a law was actually broken.

Yea not a nodejs/javascript dev at all but this is failing to install on Fedora. I don't have time to dig into it at the moment but if anybody has any well known gotchas that could be the issue that would be helpful :) Edit: I do

So I use Moonreader on Android and it preserves the zoom level as you scroll/flip through pages so it kind of does this. Not sure if that's relevant for you.
