Ambiguous, leading statements allow a listener to assume the content in lieu of specifics. In the spirit of the MSM's "Fake News" news lately, I submit a seemingly innocuous example: Of all of the "Supermoon" articl

Parse the wording of the statement(s) in question. Look for lapses existing between the actual language of a message and it's intended result. Wordsmith's are expert at saying nothing substantial while allowing(encouraging) the au

Cannot help but chuckle at the irony when I forget to allow goog/gstatic when using gmaps and get the non-blank-page stating "without js all that's left is a blank page".

Thumbs up fir Bryson. To take it a step further, Boorstin's "The Discoverers" is a longer, more encompassing version of scientific discoveries. Also, "Empires of Light" is a great chronology of events and people(Tes

In AZ we now have drywall techs and landscape engineers. Don't assume these lofty new names accompany any sort of rise in wages, it's merely newspeak.

In hindsight, this is deliciously ironic advice considering the noteworthy cesspool of Dreg's creation. In 2012 I ventured into the Craigslist chatroom to determine why a posted item I had listed was 'ghosted'. I believe the

Sure about that? The first paragraph of your link is pretty ambiguous, both in the vague criterion for "tested positive" in the first 10% and the unspecified doubled number for "had used pot within hours of a crash"... h

I concur. Some of the most talented, guv skeptics I have met began their careers in military roles(eg:education & training). A blanket ban would be no different than a witch hunt in terms of justice and harm to falsely accused.

Hey, sorry to be off-topic, but your post does not have a downvote button for me. The rest do, and I do not want to downvote you, but I am curious as to the 'why not?'.

I do not disagree and am not aware of any other significant disclosures from Manning's data. However, the families of the victims deserved to know and the FOIA tequest was nefariously(IMO) denied. Stats don't tell the whole story.
