Clarification: The AMD iGPU driver (or Chrome) on Ubuntu 24.04 has bugs on your hardware. You could try a newer and different distro (just using a live-USB) to see if that has been fixed.

The beauty with Free Software and Linux distros is that "they" don't have to do it, anyone who wants to (including you!) can do it.

Then you only support 1 distro. If anyone wants to use your software on an unsupported distro they can figure out the rest themselves.

What is the point of automating another UI/Desktop than the one you are actually using? If you allow people to build different type of systems you can't expect them to function the same and have the same API.

There have been a lot of cases where adopted kids where not abandoned but rather taken from their parents. There is a market in adoptions and not everybody involved has been "clean".

Some movies like Avangers End Game are presented in 16X9 Dolby Vision on Disney+ vs 1X2.35 HDR10 on UHD Blu-ray. You can look up comparisons on Youtube if you want to. So it is not always the case that the UHD disk is better in all aspects.

"Another aspect to consider is that all garbage collected languages are memory safe." In almost (?) all garbage collected languages you can get data races in a multi threaded context. You will not get those memory errors in Rust.

The size and impact on society of the Android/iOS platforms are way way way higher than that of Sony's and Nintendo's platforms. Nobody needs a console, but basically everybody needs a phone running Android or iOS.

Because if console makers can not "control" the platform there will probably not be future consoles which are a big part of Epic's sales.

Neighbours can get together to sell their land together, then you can set minimum prices etc. Of course, it requires only one owner not to join for this to not work, but depending on their location they might experience a lower QoL due to c

If you clearly state what you want you end up taking responsibility for that. Say you want to go to X which is a 40 minute drive away and when you get there it is full. Then you will here "Well, you wanted to go here!" and it will

Maybe you should turn off the motion smoothing and show the movies in their proper 24 fps? Playing something like The Dark Knight Rises from an UHD Blu-ray on a good OLED looks incredible!
