I made http://nicetranslator.com in Nov. 2008. Probably 2 weeks of work all said but by far my biggest success in terms of sheer numbers. It makes money to help pay bills now via AdSense and is totally hands off. Actually, given our analy

Hey, absolutely! Actually, I started learning chords prior to scales. And only wrote about scales because they seemed to be the meta-skill that many others are derived from. I'm still figuring out how precisely the circle of fifths is usefu

Crazy to think about the consequences of a mistake like this. This was sent by a friend to an email list I'm on: "Well, consider this community hospital fubared. IT dudes running around pulling out their hair. If it wasn't affecting patien

Luckily, you don't need the domain to get started. Keep working on the project and if it continues to excited you, grab the domain.

The ideal domain name is memorable, easy to spell and pronounceable. I think these 3 factors matter a fair amount. If that is the exact domain you want, I'd say $350 is a pretty good price as long as you're serious about the project.

For anyone interested in getting into gardening, I highly recommend Mel Bartholomew's 'Square Foot Gardening'. It's a great resource for starting a garden in general and I've had great success and fun with his specific technique. http://ww

Added to my wishlist on Amazon, sounds great. Seems similar to 'What to Say When You Talk to Yourself' which I just finished. Probably one of the best books on personal development I've read.

Great question and the fact that you are coming here to seek help is a great sign, I'd say. I'm in a different situation: 22, dropped out of school to start a company, etc. But, I have committed myself to developing a satisfying general lif
