I mean, there is a pretty good chance that something dramatic will happen within a 15 year timespan given any time. Just depends on what you define as dramatic (9/11? WWI? WWII?). So, it is kind of an obtuse statement.

Do you not want a large, detached house? :) I think part of it has to do with the fact that that is what people want... When you have such a place you don't have to worry as much about how much noise you're making or if you'r

Can you expand on what you are saying? It doesn't really make much sense to me. Are you saying that if the code doesn't solve the problem the wrong thing to do is add more to it? What about when you have multiple options, you can&

I think this answers the question pretty comprehensively. There are a lower amount of sophomore interns, and you only really go to a CC for 2 years or maybe 3 for the cost savings aspect, so you don't see many CC interns.

I don't ever get on twitter so maybe I don't have the same perspective. Could be the piece I am missing. I am not very interested in the social media aspect of these figures though. EDIT: I will further add that I really don'

I see a lot of hate on Jordan Peterson. I'm not an unwavering fan, but I don't see what is so offensive about him. I also don't see him as a thin-skinned narcissist.

I believe this is commonly referred to as a guard clause? I tend to prefer writing things this way too... but I could see an argument for putting something in an else block instead of just leaving it there.

450 dollars. Is 450 dollars a lot of money to you? Yes, those are all other ways to spend 450 dollars. In my opinion, getting a coffee is a quality of life boost. It takes no effort, and it increases my productivity and happiness. We are ta

Anecdotally, it really depends on the Starbucks. There are plenty that do not fill it for you right away. IME, if it's hot coffee usually they will. Iced coffee, they won't.

To be fair, 3 dollars on coffee 3 to 5 days a week is probably not eating in to your budget very much. But I guess we all focus on different things.

I guess it depends where you live. I have never heard of or known anyone doing an unpaid internship in real life. I have only heard of it in whispers on the internet.

I'm sure you're just summarizing your view or making a joke in a really bad way. But does having a restriction on firing employees even coincide with capitalism?

The most annoying thing is going through netflix on PS4 and having every thing you scroll on autoplay after a second. The only way to stop this is to open the video/show then close it. This is something I have to do regularly...
