I would love if Chrome can assign a domain + account to a group automatically. Without this, I don't think I can make use much of this feature.

some note for those want to use pihole - in windows, if you use primary dns as pihole and secondary dns as another cloud option (cloudflare, google), some ads will go through. secondary dns is not failover dns. try it and you will see.

question: if not k8s, what everyone has been using to orchestrate containers at home? Ideally, I just want something easy to setup, low maintenance cost and easy to backup and restore if sth went wrong. i've been using k8s at work for

i have to agree with you on this. i've been using k8s at work for over 4 years but operating k8s for home workload is still too much; unless, it's for tinkering/testing.

SMR explained: Be aware that this drive uses SMR technology (Shingled Magnetic Recording) to achieve such high density in a small package. If you don't know what that is, think of how shingles on a roof are laid out partially overlappi

I feel these kind of apps should have plugin to upload to other services. I hate waiting for the developer to release the integration. for macos, I find monosnap pretty good. for windows, sharex is awesome!

i couldn't think of an use case for this? can you explain what would you use this for? if you already have pihole?

the one reason i use pihole is to block ads network-wide. this kinda defeats that purpose.

this turing pi cost $189; 7x rasp pi 3 cost $210 and we need to buy SD card or eMMC, power plug or usb power hub. the total cost is not cheap either, when compare with used server rack.

for this use case, i would rather use something like SimpleNUC[0] . It's basically just NUC machines with rack mount. It's a lot more powerful than Rpi, quite power-efficient (when compare to actual server rack) and dead silent. M
