My intuition: a python interpreter gets one `PYTHONPATH` variable and so when I `import my_dep` in my app and another dependency also imports `my_dep`, they are resolved by the interpreter and cannot specify different source locations for `

While I appreciate the feedback, the goal of the site is to "crowdsource" the snippets, i.e. they are all user submitted, and then the public votes on whether it is "bad" or "not so bad".

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted to urge users to submit "here's how I'd do it" instead of commenting, i.e. show don't tell But I think you're right that a comments section is more usable/useful.

Thanks for sharing. I purchased it and took a look at the "web apps list". I was a bit disappointed -- it looks like this is just a scrape of product hunt? There isn't much metadata associated, just the information product hu

Python is a really flexible language, and there are tons of right -- and wrong ways -- to accomplish any task. BadPython is a fun, collaborative way to see and share snippets of python code, vote on whether it's actually bad , and hop

How does "several teams wanting to deploy simultaneously" cause problems in a monolith? Do you mean "merge code changes simultaneously"?

You raise a good point, there is an apparent need for an application that retains the dags-as-code but radically simplifies the airflow architecture.

Would you agree the $300-500 is easily offset by any 1 production incident/outage that would require manual intervention on the airflow servers (and thus developer salary for however many hours to fix, and lost productivity elsewhere)?

Would love to hear more about how you deploy, manage and utilize Celery. I think there is a lack of quality case studies on celery-in-production. Thanks for sharing!

I, and I'm sure others, appreciate this response. But I think if someone is under the belief that "I expect to hold them to account", then the only appropriate response is: "Then GCP is not for you"

This looks awesome! Excited to give it a spin. If I wanted to take a stab at a Scala SDK, is that something you would be interested in supporting, or should community/contrib SDKs be managed as separate projects/plugins?
