For what it's worth, I think physical science education is closer to what you are describing. I studied chemistry, and I'm not sure if it's a causal relationship, but I find I am much better at debugging (in development) and

Yes, I'd stop spending on luxuries . Do corporations ever tout this new department or new project as a luxury ? Isn't it always: "this new thing is vital to our continued success and growth!"

That's fair, I didn't intend to sound entitled, but "let's all decide what Rails-like to use" doesn't seem to be working for Clojurists, so I was hoping that poking at other avenues might spark some productive

At some point, do we have to consider that the problem might be Clojure itself? Does LISP lend itself to "Rails" -- a Rails that people want to work with? I ask, genuinely, as a near-total outsider. The comparison to Elixir got me

Are you suggesting a Result type and Exceptions are mutually exclusive? Scala bolted `Either` (a Result type) on top of Java, and it worked exceptionally well in my experience.

Oh I see. My intention wasn't to compare the two nations, but that I was surprised that people across the globe feel the same way about their government and politics and COVIDs influence on it.

Outreach doesn't explicitly state the reason he was terminated. There are a number of tweets suggesting it wasn't the bodegas video. It's certainly not a good look, but this title is jumping to conclusions.
