I really wish we had high speed rail in Australia. I'd pick a 600km/h train over a plane any day.

When I tested my $5 nginx vps could handle 16,000 requests per second over local host. Maybe at worst 10,000 per second over the network

The usual roadblock in this process is getting ports exposed to the internet. In the best case this can just be done on your router configuration. In the unfortunately common case the ISP blocks you from doing this and the only solution is

Likely to change soon. Those areas have stopped buying plastic waste from the rest of the world.

Soon you will also be able to see a rating next to their name showing their social credit score so you will know how much interacting with them will affect your score.

Even locally is bad. Retail will use this right away to track everyone and what products they look at.

Its interesting but for these kinds of projects its the software library that will mean everything to how well this goes. I'm not going to spend that much for a device to play tech demos when I already have handheld gaming devices

The people I know who voted for the libs preferenced the greens first and only voted for the libs because labor would leave them financially worse off.

What amazes me is how mobile games are almost all just the same game with different art and slightly different features but they almost always fall in to the category of loading bars that get longer as the game goes on and a second currency

Drinks at bars always seem far to expensive in my opinion. I just can't see how $13 for a drink that will last 15 minutes is worth it.

For most intents and purposes its OK if you are a bit inaccurate. The important thing is that we will never drift further and further away. In 1000 years time we will still have exactly the same kg as we have now.

Looking different to the native apps isn't even the worst part. Its that a simple notes app is 300mb and after opening a few basic programs you have 10gb of ram used.

Seems like this is to be expected more and more. From what I have heard coal is only cheaper when you already have the coal power plants built but when you are starting fresh renewables make more sense.

I have found that some trendy clothes actually last a long time and some hardly lasts at all. I think I if I pay more attention I could work out how long lasting shirts feel so I can pick them out when looking for clothes. When it comes to

This actually is surprising news for me. I know celebrities do this but I didn't think real people buy clothes they hardly use. I just can't bring myself to throw out clothes with holes in them and wear them on the weekends becaus

How do you buy less clothes? Having less clothes just makes the stuff you have wear out faster. All of my clothes have worn out in ways you can't repair. Putting a patch over a hole looks worse than having a hole.
