I’m not sure what these regulations and taxes are that you’re talking about. Have you looked at Alberta? It’s the Texas of Canada. Extremely lightweight corporate regulation and low taxes. Corporate income tax on the first $500,000 of incom

The phrase “As an AI language model..” was reportedly produced by GPT itself. Humans reported that phrase as a more palatable output than other options, hence the model was fine tuned to produce it reliably.

Canadian tech employers pay some of the lowest effective income tax rates in any developed country because the R&D tax credit regime is so generous. For Canadian controlled private corporations, the tax credit on R&D salaries is abo

Superblocks is cool, but... when I tried building a simple web hook receiver, it totally failed because the sender of the web hook had their own particular notion of how authentication should work. And Superblocks was rigid in its concept o

Canada’s real estate sector is massive. The economy seems to run on digging things out of the ground to sell to other countries, buying nice things made abroad, and then selling houses to each other. All of this fun is backstopped by a gove

In 1999, our “computer vision” guy - a masters student - struggled mightily to recognize very simple things in a video stream from a UAV. Today, we would take this for granted. But back then, the computation was for all intents and purposes

I built something like this and it was so rad, but oh my god was it ever expensive. I definitely advise using the 3.5-turbo model if you find the results acceptable, because it is 20x cheaper than the "guru level" genius of GPT-4.
