A big issue is that after all these revelations it is clear that the NSA and other branches of government has not been transparent. The trust has eroded and it's hard to take Obama at face value when he says he may end or reduce these

That part rang true for me too. Completely agree that millenials are going to be disappointed with leaders representing the old culture.

It would be interesting to see the age data for services like SnapChat and Instagram (maybe this was included in FB's age range).

It's great to see that Microsoft has begun to put a greater emphasis on design. It will be interesting to see if they are able to win some of the 'cool factor' from Apple.

Interesting read. As someone trying to build my own company it's nice to have Seth reminding us that the companies that have sudden surges in users is not the norm. For the ones that do have a sudden increase, most were working diligently f

If I read their about page right, they only check your mail a few times a week (3x), then if you decide you do want a specific piece of mail they've scanned they will send it back to you. So you still end up checking your mail waiting for t

Thanks for the feedback. I am looking more for an introduction to programming so perhaps Dev Bootcamp does make sense. I feel that it can't hurt to have a general understanding of coding when trying to get a role as a PM.

Ask HN: I'm non-technical, is Dev BootCamp a good idea?

Completely agree with you. I was very excited when I heard about the HBO Go app and was looking forward to paying HBO for their excellent content. Similarly I was frustrated to find you need cable TV and Comcast to use it. Still trying to f
