The tesla roadster started with a Lotus Elise body and frame. The S was the first tesla that was entirely their design (AFAIK). EDIT: actually, from looking at [0], Tesla says it was based on licensed Lotus tech, but most definitely not an

I'd love to hear more about your tuning around both PG and ZFS. I assume pg_xlog is on its own fs with 8K records, but beyond that, anything interesting, or any guides that you found especially useful?

Have you used erlang? Pattern matching is a big part of it, and pattern match failures always result in errors. So, if you have some function foo() that always returns ok or {error, Reason}, then in the "follow the happy path" sty

Tell the family that the device was defective, and the manufacturer is entirely to blame. It's the simple truth, no need to try to blame the deceased.

I'm not a vagrant user, but your question intrigued me. A quick skim of the documentation for the vagrant-libvirt module shows a synced folders section[0], which appears to support configs for NFS and 9pfs for two-way sync. Do those no

Slow drones can be great for filming parkour runs, where the runner doesn't make a lot of forward progress but instead has a lot of vertical motion through interesting environments. e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

The helium COPV is submerged in LO2, so it's the oxygen that's soaking into the wrapping. I think the failure is that the oxygen is soaking into the wrapping before the helium is fully pressurized, and then the metal container exp
