If you do so much IPC that you have to design your language around it you're probably doing it wrong. I don't think that moving to a monolith would really cut down that much on other technologies. Maybe you can do without Kafka, b

So property owners should profit from appreciation when new infrastructure is built around them, and this is pretty much the only reason that their land ever increases in value, but be compensated when the opposite happens? Sounds grant.

If my parents had bought me a $30k laser cutter I would be too. But I can't even afford the garage. If you want to worship a DIY-god then look up Jerry Ellsworth. She's the real deal, unlike this guy, and makes chips with her own

Microfrontends are about independent development, not code reuse. They work fine if you understand their purpose.

As a German this article was particularly illuminating how much better Americans live. At $50k the "reasonable $1250 apartment" isn't 30% of my pay, it is HALF of my net income. A "very small" apartment in Germany i

You say Dart is underused, but why build something new with Dart when you could do the same thing with a better language? The only reason to use it is Flutter.

Combining the best parts of Java and JavaScript isn't exactly something to boast about. Dart lives and dies with the Flutter framework. Other than that it's not doing anything special. Not terrible but also not a significant impro

I would still brush my teeth after every meal if I can. Not only to prevent smells. I find it also reduces the frequency of snacking and thus helps to keep the weight down.

That you even consider a "peanut butter" microservice demonstrates your total lack of knowledge about them. "Peanut butter" is not a business capability, it is an entity. If you try to align services with entities, you a

Many startups around me seem to be using Flutter, about as many as are using React Native. The problem with startups is that they're chronically broke and contracts are often too short to be worth it. All the cross platform frameworks
