The easy part is the crypto, that's been done to death and back. Signal has managed to do the "How can we exchange keys while atleast one of us is always offline?" part. So a good and somewhat PFS key exchange should be possi

Keybase: Where I put my GPG keys which I basically only use to sign git commits for repositories that I'm most likely the only person that will ever lay eyes upon them but atleast I can verify that nobody pushed to them...

>A technical criticism of PGP/GPG is of course also possible. The whole thing is a museum of early 1990s crypto, with default ciphers like CAST5 and messages not being authenticated - and even if the message is authenticated most pa

This looks like a very exciting project, maybe if this is refined it could be used for prosumer/homeusers to scale their NAS storage?

I might actually do that, mostly because I really only do quick edits on the console 99% of the time.

IMO Gogs is missing on this list. I'm using it for some private code hosting and it's really neat, easy to use and selfhostable.

I tried that too and it doesn't work.

It's not a python router though, it's for go. In this case, I don't see any typesystem hacks either, it uses the standard library types and as it looks, can just hook up to net/http/ServeFunc typed functions, which

Still Paywalled for me.

by tscs37 10y ago
Damn Paywalls. I wish there was a service that I could sign up to and it would make all the paywalls go away.

What about Mallory?

I'm not sure if it still applies, but there is a saying: "There are maybe 5 people in the world that may call themselves cryptographers"

Bit of weird news. /r/pebble posted an archive of mostly all Pebble Apps though, which is kinda neat.

Why use alternatives? You can download the Google Web Fonts and serve them from your host. You can also download and serve Font Awesome from local. And there doesn't seem to be a reason why you can't do it with gravatar either. I

"Manliness kills Ass-Cancer". That should have been the headline, even if a bit vulgar.

I use shaarli (with it's not quite so good UI) and just put every link I know into there. It's written in PHP and easy enough to host on a cheap Shared Host or VPS.

IMO the best choice depends on what you want to do. Like always. Go shines when it comes to serving a webpage, connecting to the database and processing shitloads or buttloads of data. C#/.NET has been the most pleasant language I&#x27

The OnStar is an obvious example. But how does voiding the warranty restrict your ability to drive where you want? It's the vendor simply saying "you're doing something we did not intend you to do with the product, so it&#x27

Sadly, no. Hintertupfingen is merely a invented place which is most removed from the happenings in the rest of the world. Being from Hintertupfingen implies being somewhat of a Redneck or atleast uneducated of what happens in the world.
