This is really impressive, especially the speech recognition part. I can't really judge anything else, since I don't speak a word of mandarin. The speech recognition though is easily the best I've ever seen. This is almost the kind of recog

For me, productivity changes on a day by day basis. There are days when I'm able to stay focused and work from 8am to midnight, taking a half-hour lunch break and a 5 minute break every 3 hours and I actually get a lot done in that time.

For me, personally this isn't much of a problem, since I've got exactly no data at all hosted on cloud services. All the data I want to use on the go, as well as from home, I host on my own server. Therefore the data is, as far as I know, m

Sounds right, yes. Most elderly people I've met who still were mentally fit have been using their heads their entire life. Obviously this is anecdotal but I think it's just like a workout for your brain in order to keep in shape, just as be

From what I've seen, mate (the Gnome 2 fork) looks decent too. After the disaster that was Gnome 3 I've went away from full DEs to a simple but great tiling window manager (awesome, that's the name of it as well as the description). Since 9

Why isn't there a keyword stating "don't optimize this!" in the C Standard? If there is is, please correct me. There are a bunch of similar problems introduced by optimizing compilers that could be solved with such a keyword.

In Portugal, the average wage is 777€/month, paid 14 times a year, resulting in about 10800€ a year. Not exactly 10000$, but close.
