What did I misconstrue? You put forth your opinion as fact, I asked you to back that opinion up with some facts but it seems you are unable to do that. Seems pretty straight forward to me, but accusing others of misconstruing your argument

You mention the stimulus checks but dodged speaking on the tax cuts proposed by the house. Tax cuts will cost far more than the stimulus checks.

You must be against the proposed tax cuts as we do not have money for those either, right?

You are claiming your main point is obvious with nothing to back that up, but sure you can hand-wave that away as irrelevant.

Liz Cheney, the Republican who was elected by Republicans as a Republican to congress? I agree with your sentiment though, Democrats reach across the aisle far too often.

You can search for persecution of Elon wherever you would like but there is none here. It’s my understanding that Shotwell is running the show there and Elon is mainly hands off. There are many achievements I believe should bear Elons name

I don’t understand why those who praise space-x also take the time to bad mouth nasa. They are basically teammates here. Space-x has done some great things (kudos to Shotwell) but they did it on the shoulders of nasa and government funding,

In my 20 years in gov I saw it spent on productive infrastructure projects. Your anecdotes are weak.

I see up and down revisions with pockets of each all over this graph. This does not seem to present a strong argument that the Biden administration is actively lying about jobs data.

No monopolies operate outside of the limits of reality. Trying to draw this line between what you feel is real and fake does not seem to resonate.

Hacker news seems to love rage bait and may just align with your biases better than other tech sites. This has certainly been my experience, I often find people I agree with more reasonable before any personal reflection.
