Go as of today doesn't have too many libraries available. So there is really nothing to learn besides the language itself.

You should try out Play2 on Scala if Go doesn't work for you.

Hey. If you can do all of that without requiring any assistance from a good IDE, then you have my respect. :) However, I'm still sticking to my point. Debugging your code using Printf feels like 1990s.

This sounds like me when I was still in college trying to hack out a 100 line of code for a small programming assignment... But this approach does not scale with a million line of code project. Anyone with real programming experience can te

Question for Gophers. How do you guys debug your code? What IDE do you use? Scala works beautifully with IDEA IDE, one of the best IDE out there! GUI debugger just works out of the box. I tried using Go for a little bit but I find IDE and t

Thanks. I'm using YUI in my app right now. Adding jQuery along with Bootstrap is a huge overhead for me.

Have you guys checked out Yahoo Mojito? It aims to solve the exact same problem. It's a bit cleaner than DerbyJS and Meteor too.

There is no real need to use app engine anymore. Just use Heroku with MongoDB for Ruby On Rails deployment. :)

If you're going to advertise Recurly as a secured payment product, then you need to do everything you can to prevent third parties and the merchant from peeking at your credit card form. On any given web page, it can easily bring in 10 or m

You're missing the point. While the user is entering the credit card number, there's a chance that someone can intercept and steal the CC. You can easily solve this problem by putting the credit card form inside your own iframe. :)

How is this PCI compliance? You're exposing credit card number on the input field of the original publisher's HTML page. This means that the publisher can pick up the credit card number himself, or an included third party javascript library

So the code we write is clean and easy to understand, but the debugger only work with the compiled version of the code? In another word, write in C, and debug in assembly...
