Out of curiosity- did it work though?

Yeah but this is just the name of the game. How can you even stop SEO style gamification at this point? I’m sure even LLMs are vulnerable/have been trained on SEO bs. End of the day it takes an informed user. Remember back in the day?

Yeah I was thinking while reading this- aren’t they actually allowed to sell that empty seat already since they are allowed to oversell? What do they want to do here? Triple dip?

No matter what, tools will be broken. Having access to the source and being able to land a diff to fix the issue is awesome imo.

Lol the vuln itself is so low bar too- literally just upload a malicious jar file and it execs.

Would the fed doing an emergency cut also further exasperate the spiral as well since this would further devalue the dollar compared to Yen?

I read a lot of reports stating that this trade is north of 20 trillion dollars. Do you know how this number is calculated? Or if it’s possible to identify other large risks like this? Seems pretty insane to me as someone not in finance.

From what I understand (and I may be completely wrong so please someone correct me) is that these rate hikes are causing the “carry trade” (estimated to be 20+ trillion dollars) to come to an end and investors are unwinding their positions

If that’s the case I wonder why we’re only now seeing everyone’s systems BSODing. Should be an interesting write up (if they release one)

Crazy- wasn’t Azure having an outage earlier today? Is this related?

Lol is this basically a train SaaS solution? Whats wild to me is that SaaS products aren’t actually required to issue CVEs since customers aren’t the ones responsible for patching.

As a red teamer I agree - I always found this ridiculous

Yeah you’re leaving us hanging here! To me it seems like people are learning their worth a little bit more lately and are demanding a little bit more/less financial stress.

Very cool. I got so used to using burp all these years I never bothered to look into anything else. I’ll try this out.

What proxy tool are you using in that write up? Does it route all application traffic through it when running? Sorry if these are dumb questions.

MySQL actually supports something similar (see executable comments using /*! MySQL-specific code */). I found this out during an assessment once and was shocked to see it lol. https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman&

The fact that they got their internal source/all bug reports is so bad. Literally every known and unknown vuln in their source is now up for grabs.

Lol even red teaming has loads of paperwork/crusty stuffy work. You have to have a good paper trail of what you did for repudiation purposes. That’s just how it be.

Lmao someone was listening to too much 2pac and drinking. Literally right out of “Hit Em Up”. Don’t think he was being serious, but still not a good look for a CEO.

Market forces are hard to fight sometimes. Look at Meta- they were beaten like hell cuz of their metaverse bet.

Yeah that’s usually how it goes. I also try to find dedicated forums on specific stuff and try to get a sense from there- but even that is pretty hit or miss.

I had something similar (not covid related tho). I was having allergy issues, which caused post nasal drip, which caused acid reflux, which caused asthma! Once I fixed my allergies, all the other stuff went away.

Why do we care so much about this kind of stuff? 1984 is a great book- has a great message/warning about how dangerous a world without privacy and unchecked institutional power can be. Read the book, tune out the noise.
