Hmm, 13 drawn out items and none of them include a SQLi XSS or CSRF audit? Odds are there are plenty. Once your db and CEO's sexting logs end up on pastebin you'll probably be thinking that the robots.txt was pretty minor.

It's an interesting question. When you look at the vast complexity, diversity and synergy in the natural world it certainly represents a body of work that far exceeds mankinds best achievements so far. If I'm smarter than a monkey because I

I honestly didn't realize that, so thank you for clarifying. My skeptical side wonders if that really changes much, though. Sure, some ISPs would stay up but many of the largest backbones and retail ISPs are deep in bed with the government

I'm sure that this outcome was inevitable, even if Sam had never been born. I even think there are a few good lessons here. If everyone managed to calm down a bit we might even come out better off. I'm pretty sure it looked like the card ha

I saw traffic numbers $HUGE_ISP last year and google was pulling almost 85% in search. That was by number of bits shifted, not impressions - I'm not sure how that would change it. If you're really interested, I'd reach out to sandvine. They

Funny that the two ipad models are dead even considering they've shipped more than twice as many original ipads. It would seem a full 50% of gruber's readers replaced their ipad's with the ipad 2. No wonder apple is crushing tablet sales.

You should take a look at "Creating a World Without Poverty: Social Business and the Future of Capitalism" by Muhammad Yunus. He won the nobel peace prize in 2006 for his groundbreaking work on Grameen Bank. I really like the idea of social

Most western nations wouldn't consider shutting down the major broadcasters during something like London. The media is firmly entrenched as part of the establishment, and is more than happy to provide spin that's in favor of the politicians

Since it's relying on the error correction to interpret those bits as smudged / etc. - couldn't you just slap your hi res 4 color logo down on top of the center of the code and get the same effect except without the pixelation?

Just like enterprises, they get you to install their CA cert as a new trusted root and then they sign their own certs for each domain as they flow through. Corporate IT will just push it through AD or pre-configure it, I'd assume campus IT

If Fox Nation implemented something like this, they’d have zero commenters (unless, of course, they made the wrong answers “right”). I wholeheartedly disagree. I am pretty much a total idiot (based on many years of evidence) and yet I can

It's a pretty good troll, but the chances of it being true are very low. I think someone attended the excellent talk: "Femtocells: a Poisonous Needle in the Operator's Hay Stack" [1] about 3G MITM and got inspired to have a bit of a laugh.

Heavy use of virtual memory and swap doesn't make sense when your only storage device is NAND flash. Killing and restarting unused processes makes sense when you are shipping devices with low amounts of SDRAM but fast disks and processors.
