Somebody better call up the Slack devs and let them know they're doing something terrible. It's really going to hurt their image.

My team is using Angular for an app that contains large tabular data all over the place. We ended up having to rewrite the table generation in jQuery and now we've got a POC in development using React. Most other places we've had

Yeah the probe is covered in panels. The main issue is that it did not land where they intended and it is mostly in shadow. I am not a rocket scientist but... it looks like it will be getting closer to the sun as time goes on here so maybe

Is this actually common? I'm just curious. I have three years experience out of school and assumed that consulting rates were more like $50-$100/hr

If it's free I'll deal with the commercials. Gives you time to get up and stretch/use the restroom/ play with the dog/ etc.

This is fantastic. Consumers have been showing for a long time now that they desire better access to cable tv content. Hopefully the cable companies don't abuse their power as ISPs to limit competition online.

It's the new message board for many people. You can go join subreddits for any hobby you can think of. You can use subreddits to research new interests and meet others that share your interests. Once you get off the front page, there i

It's super obvious that it would be CGI after reading those specs. They're pretty impossible with current technologies.

I dont think they were intending for this to go out on production applications just yet. You could just play around with the API in some personal or open source project for now. Whatever pricing plan they come out with should be reasonable.

Regardless of what current licenses dictate, should someone be able to port someone else's code to make a profit? Seems pretty shady to rewrite someone's code just to get around a license. Maybe this is where patents come into p

Well people do tend to spit in minuscule amounts when they speak. The person could also cough and throw spit around. It wouldn't be entirely impossible to contract it by sitting near someone for several hours.

You can test it without ingesting it. With hundreds of reviews I'd hope a few people were smart enough to sacrifice some of their MDMA to test it.

One of my previous employers went and acquired a startup that had three employees and each had a C title. One was chief Organization Officer. What exactly are you organizing?!

The NSA has already shown this to be relatively trivial. Don't think for a second the government wouldn't harness that knowledge in an emergency situation such as an Ebola outbreak within the US.

It just got a lot better with v0.3.0. The code is much more organized and is basically documentation on its own. They also added the ability to call/modify/add internal functions externally so its much easier to build off of.

Check out c3 v0.3.0's source code. It's the closest thing to self documenting code I've seen so far. Any holes in the docs have been cleared up by grepping the source really quick.

Next step would be to optimize the placement algorithm I think. The 'K' example is the post obvious. You could have robots start creating the lower right quadrant and correct their position as the rest of the group gathers.
