Yep, and that's the sad thing. As a Brit, it used to be a simple flow: check Netflix, almost certainly on there, watch. Now it's usually not on there, and checking JustWatch shows that it's unavailable in the UK (without payi

"when"? It'd only be nightmarish if the driver (and passengers) have no faith in autopilot. .. in which case, I doubt the road-trip would be driven entirely on autopilot.

Wait, what? I'm a Brit and assumed this was just an early April Fools Day joke - especially as a few articles said it was due to be implemented on 1st April 2018, but was delayed until 1st April 2019. What a bizarre policy.

Their new Shanghai factory (Gigafactory 3) seems to be partially built with the Model Y in mind so I wouldn't count against this actually being true.

Essentially yes - a Java stream returns an iterable object, which we can perform further operations such as filtering down, mapping to something else or 'collecting' it into another object (et al).

The UK isn't the only country to be getting quite strict in this regard: Germany being a prime example.

Over a decade ago a university student got held for six days[0] after viewing (and printing) some terrorist tactics which were apparently directly relevant to his research. It's concerning that the sentences have now got even stricter

I think this comes down to team culture and morale. This certainly does happen in a team with a bad culture/morale, but IMO it's just a symptom of the wider issues. But yep, code reviews do make situations with bad morale worse IM

I agree and not sure why you've been downvoted originally. I've also seen plenty of non-tech-savvy users use the internet who seem almost confused if a website isn't 'using www'.

I do agree, however remember that you can get SSL certs from $9 (e.g. from NameCheap). You might be able to pay lower if you shop around too. Also even if it was used as a fairly strong ranking signal, if Google still approach their ranking

What might be nice as well is to put a Py3K alternative alongside any red libraries, where applicable. I'm not sure how much work it'd be but it might be useful to see how much Py2k library functionality can already be achieved in

As patio11 says, the margin on domains are fairly small and so many domain companies survive on the upsells instead. Verisign's current .com price is $7.85 and for .net is $5.62. This is the minimum that the registrars (GoDaddy, NameCh

I think a bigger story from these statistics is the rise in Linux: "while Linux gained 0.17 percentage points (to 1.73 percent)" Going from 1.56% to 1.73% is an ~11% increase, which is a pretty large rise (albeit from a smaller ba

I'm looking to learn Python, so it's a pitty that there's a schism of sorts within Python. This sort of reminds me about PHP 6: a project with initially high momentum and various ideas to clean up the language. But over time
