When the solar system formed, the gas cloud collapsed along the shortest axis first into a spinning disc and then formed the planets and sun. This naturally aligns the largest bodies in most systems along the astral axis.

Listening to the piece at the end of the article is somehow incredibly exciting. Aside from the fact that I'm deeply interested in digital music synthesis, just the fact that this recording exists and you can literally hear the human e

Yeah. Lots of things that were uploaded to this cloud service were transcriptions or complete rips of sheet music of in-copyright works. Sheet music is also copyrighted and when the music industry found out about the service, it got strong

If anyone is interested, this is a project you can use to generate a nice template for a compilable common lisp project for Linux that uses sbcl, which really reduces the initial setup pain for new projects: https://github.com&#x

Does soil continue to break down over time or does it permanently sequester into peat/coal/oil? As far as I knew, basically all of the tree's cellulose eventually gets released over time into CO_2 via biological activity.

That only "fixes" climate change as long as the trees continue growing and do not die. When dead, trees release their CO_2 that they've sequestered back into the atmosphere due to decomposition. Therefore, assuming those fore
