The author seems to imply we will all switch to Chrome because of speed, and speed alone. You know what? My PC is faster than it ever was, CPU never hits 100% and Firefox runs fast enough for my needs. With my new i7 system I expect this to

Hear hear. Twitter was full of mostly interesting, cutting edge, net culture-y folks until early last year, but this story shows just how the community has changed. Which ironically is also touted as it's biggest asset and value: It has n

WS/SOAP is self-documenting and can have client-side code fully auto-generated in a 100% reliable manner. REST, as it is not even near a documented standard besides "use HTTP verbs" not so much. With the right toolkit WS/SOAP is basically a

From the report: No backgrounding, no multitasking, no unobtrusive notifications. No copy and paste (yet), no MMS, no video. Really pretty minor stuff thus far. Ah well. So we have push notification, better hardware access and the maps AP

While I'm not going to dismiss your argument entirely, it basically boils down to "Migrating to IPv6 is hard. Let's go shopping". Now the question which would be reasonable to ask is how hard would this migration actually be, coupled with
