you should have put 'fast' in quotes. for those who haven't watched it, it's a video about how awful the HTML5 experience is on the iPad so far, not only because of speed but because developers haven't developed for the touch events.

sorry, but that doesn't mean that there's a war with a single winner who has already won. people are encoding videos like this because the popular ways of playing videos are through flash and through the iphone. once HTML5 video picks up, i

gotta agree -- a table with spacer TDs is going to be your best solution here. like mbrubeck mentioned, justified blocks are going to require a hack since it's the last line of content. perhaps the design can be thought out again, though. i

you don't necessarily have to duplicate code blocks all the time since you can declare a definition for multiple styles: .uno { color: green; font-size: 18px; text-align: center; } .dos { color: green; font-size:

decent IDEs like Aptana will make browsing stylesheets much easier. like methods in an object, it lists all definitions and allows for alphabetizing and clicking to jump to that specific definition. ...not that there isn't a use for organiz

I can offset your lack of seeing it. I rented it via Netflix solely because of the parodies. I wanted to see the real context, and for what it's worth, it was a good movie.

yeah, i thought the same thing. it must have been an error on the part of the author. here it is in the CSS2.1 spec -- http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/visuren.html#display-prop it looks like it was introduced in CSS 2.1 because it is missing in

Yeah, isn't this a straw man? Nobody has claimed Apple owes them anything. They're just voicing their opinions to make the community a better place.

But Apple would never let me install a radio that would tune into adult shows like Howard Stern. And they'd block all Sirius XM radios because of this possibility. And if someone created a radio that used too much battery life, I wouldn't b

it's pretty surprising how prevalent `clear: both` is. yes, it works, but you're putting presentational code in your markup more than you need to. let me put it in simple terms for people: you probably don't need to use `clear: both`. almo
