This reminds me of the article I read this morning about beard transplants becoming popular in NYC.

I agree, who would want to stop thinking? Though I'm sure we'll be told by someone we "just don't understand" and that it's ambiguously deeper than that.

Yeah, the set theory bit was kinda bull shit. It's really nothing like set theory other than the word "contains". And the "Mathematicians have seen that far" sounds like typical snake oil selling.

Indeed, the "just start" approach is awesome. It cuts the excuses people find to continue to "prepare" or procrastinate.

Nice job, though you could argue a big part of the prototyping (in fact, the main feature) was already completed. Most of the design decisions, illustration and how the information should be displayed had already been 90% provided by Neila.

The technology is coming, whether anyone here likes it or not. Whether it's nanotech, web prying or any other things we haven't even dreamed up yet. This is inevitable, you can't ban research and development into it. The peop

I've never quite understood this argument. I hardly think a Colt and a Wingmaster are going to help stop trained soldiers, drones, jets, tanks etc. It is ridiculous and ignorant of reality.

I'm not supporting shit, I'm just saying whether you like it or not, the technologies eventually going to get to the point where you can't prevent it. Whether it's incredibly small drones, nanotech or your own cellphone,

It's amazing the performance difference with WebGL on Chrome vs Firefox. It lagged to like 5-10 fps with Chrome, but am getting 60+ it seems with Firefox.

That's odd, I reject Apple for the same reason. I joke of course, but Apple builds monopolies they have tight control over, sue for anything and basically tell everyone who doesn't like it to screw off (and they can because they h

As long as clueless fucking judges allow this shit to keep happening, America is going to keep losing its tech edge. These patent trolls make creating anything in the US risky for businesses.
