Cloudflare is amazing but in the long-term they're incredibly dangerous to the future of the internet as they further consolidate traffic and power via their network.

Well it's either that or build middleman platforms like Upwork that force workers into bidding wars and fight over scraps to survive. You can either make the world a better place for many, or just enrich yourself.

I understand broke founders who go after the boring startup projects with the goal to just make money. But once you have money behind you that's your rare opportunity to tackle the profound projects that capitalism doesn't really

Why would a guy with enough personal funds to tackle any project decide to focus on home improvement? How boring and inconsequential to the future of humanity.

So if an unregulated ICO does it, it's bad. But if a regulated ICO does it, that's cool, just regular startup scene behavior. Pump and dump those return multiples on unsophisticated public investors. The VC leeches will love this

Boggles my mind that the SEC would give the tick to an ICO with heavily discounted tokens. You gave founders, employees and investors tokens at $0.00012. Then you sold discounted tokens at $0.12. Now you're pumping the pyramid scheme f

I've met a hell of a lot of authoritarians in the crypto scene over the past decade. Blockchain technology is a centralized datastore so of course it's a tool for global authoritarianism; think IBM in the 1930s selling slow databa

The idea is to decouple the content from the platform. So one way you could do it is have the content deployed to an open distributed file storage and streaming protocol (IPFS or Holochain perhaps, blockchain will never scale). Content crea
