As a PHP developer, merging the PHP repository into core will be disastrous for me. I have 27 packages installed for PHP 5.5 - 7.2, and the versioned extensions will evaporate. So much of my tooling is built around homebrew and the `homebre

Probably the same evidence for phrenology. I'm just skeptical that there's even 5 bubbles right now.

Well, normal markets have a sawtooth growth pattern. It's only a matter of time till each of the discussed markets reaches bubble-proportions, then pops. History proves that with both the stock/real-estate markets. But I haven

I understand the problem. But we don't need an umpteenth _anything-shamed_ label. Just confront the problem without a label. Please.

Yeah, the press loves to inflate things. Thanks for a mathematician's opinion on it. I think it's pretty clever of them (the Babylonians), since I don't remember them having a decimal system. I guess by cherry-picking specifi

As part of our build process, not only do we minify our stylesheets (which makes an attempt to unify nearby selectors, if similar) but we precompress. And our library will route asset requests through a proxy script that adds cache-control

Is this a meme or joke I'm unaware of? Circular charging (laptop-to-laptop) does nothing except induce loss. Loss from heat, resistance, etc. It might act like you doubled the battery life, but you'd get more mileage from any USB-

About the fade-in... the click from the alarm clock wakes me up. It's not enjoyability, it's volume and how sudden the music comes on. Just consider it.

I haven't used it, but here are a few thoughts from looking at your site and the app store... • Your website doesn't say anything. No information about music genre, settings, etc. You need to say _something_. • I suggest having a

What you're saying is, it's unsafe to write a crypto library in PHP without being aware of PHP internals. Which I'd agree with, in general. Thankfully the PHP community now has a group like Paragonie willing to share implemen

I bought a Dell 7559. It's easy to upgrade with an M.2 SSD as the primary drive, and I upgraded to that and 16GB RAM first thing. Very happy with how responsive the system is. And it was all less than $1000 USD.

The scariest part to me is, there's no way to control how your data is reported except to ensure its accuracy. You can't opt-out. No opt-out makes NextCaller a creeper—like all the others.

Having capacity doesn't imply the desire or motivation to make use of it. IQ is "capacity" but it doesn't mean that we inherently make better use of our "greater" intelligence.
