So from what I understood, the clients had no way of accessing an encoded WebRTC video frame before it was sent over the network. Only with the new Insertable Streams is this possible. So they kind of plan to do what you say, encrypt it &qu

I can only recommend you switch fully to SQLite or native storage. localStorage has always been unreliable and could be cleared any time on iOS.

Oh, how could I have missed the JS Agent... thanks a lot for the hint! But it looks like it's not node, so no npm modules and other node APIs.

I have been running huginn on my home server for a while. I've mainly used it to filter RSS feeds and then generate new feeds with the filtered items. Another use-case for me is ingesting webcomic RSS feeds (or scrape a page) and post

I really like Hardkernel's Odroid boards. They have a big catalog for many use cases and are a lot more performant than the Pi but less open hardware/driver wise and lack on board WiFi/BT. But as others have said, there are A

For me this problem is very real. For example I got my mother a Pocofone F1 (by Xiaomi). Everything works fine, WhatsApp notifications arrive but there are some apps which just get crushed by Xiaomi's battery saver. Audible's lock

I thought some of the feature presentations were very strange. They focused way too much on "how not to do it" instead of the "here's how Pixel solves this". For example the wide angle lens got a video which was 90%

Broadly speaking, yes but sometimes you have to consider development, maintenance cost and balance that with experience. For some use cases the delta in user experience is not that dramatic for it to require native applications on multiple

Cordova has many issues and shortcomings but that was not really the issue I had. E.g. you had to use a shim [1] otherwise many JS frameworks wouldn't even work in the webview and on Windows 10 you have to work around capability restri

Thanks for the links. It's good to see that there is ongoing development to improve the situation. It would still be nice to be have a Spring Boot app work on a 512MB container but even pretty simple ones don't seem to.

One big drawback of Dropwizard (at least for us) was that it was very problematic to deploy it as a war in a tomcat environment. There is wizard-in-a-box but there were a lot of issues with that as well.
