3D layout reminds me of Firefox's 3D view, which I sorely miss. Wish they brought it back, but it seems unlikely.

Worse, imagine if someone set their shell as the suffix alias for .sh, just to save time on their curl shell pipes... Oh the horror. Suffix aliases should come with a big caveat.

That sounds severely more dystopian than what we have now. I pray that this does not come to fruition. Don't give them ideas.

Another victim of the Chrome Extension AI. Seems like the PR move of last week was nothing beyond that, a PR move. I expect them to backpedal again like they did with Pushbullet, but it's too late now.

I read the entire article, and my first thought is... why? Why go through all that complexity? How much money does this actually save over writing a regular server to prompt favoring this approach? Wouldn't this have a similar cost as

Wouldn't a better model be to not charge the user for that month if they haven't watched anything? So you would only pay for months where you actually watched things on Netflix, and you wouldn't find that your account was sud

Oh, if it's a funding related thing, then that's fine. The paragraph makes it sound like they can't put Krita up on those stores without requiring a fee.

Awesome news. This part caught my attention though: >Unlike the Windows and Steam store, we don’t ask for money for Krita in the store, since it’s the only way people can install Krita on those devices, but you can buy a supporter badge

Why not an alternate stylesheet (link rel="alternate stylesheet")? I don't know whether Chrome/ium supports it anymore, but Firefox definitely does. It would work with zero JS.
