This has been my experience as well. And now w/ the new twitter API pricing, I will have to shut down my open source ChatGPTBot which has over 100k followers. Sad.

Trust is great; but even trust can be broken either on purpose or accidentally over time. There's a great example of a well-known NPM package which was taken over accidentally by a hacker, and the thousands / millions of dependent

This is is going to destroy Twitter's developer ecosystem in the short/medium-term. $100 / month for 50k POSTs sounds reasonable-ish, until you realize it's limited to 3k tweets per user / month and most helpful bot

The important takeaway for both GPT4All and Alpaca is that once an expensive proprietary model is released, people can easily train cheaper OSS models on input/output pairs. ⇒ LLMs are not defensible ⇒ LLMs will become commoditized ⇒ P

I don't think this is correct at all. It's one of the main use cases for GPT-4 – so long as the scraped data or outputs from their LLMs aren't used to train competing LLMs.

Great use case! - LLMs excel at converting unstructured => structured data - Will become less expensive over time - When GPT-4 image support launches publicly, would be a cool integration / fallback for cases where the code-based ex
