Yes, there's a default workflow template in Comfy for that matter now.

Agreed, my media server is mostly AI written go at this point and it works great. Before AI the "one way to do something" was already my favorite feature of go, now it makes it much easier for me to use AI and still understand my

While I don't think this is novel I am a believer that AI has changed computing forever in the same way the tweet implies. I now use my own video compositor to edit videos instead of after effects https://lowkeyviewer.com&#x

I would prefer to celebrate human art at a fair. Same as I still watch humans play chess and sport. Kind of defeats the spirit of having a contest.

The way a lot of people use AI is kind of proof the only thing they ever did or cared about was appearances and hype. There is not one iota of interest in reality. Every waking moment is a walking con and a sales pitch.

I'm not a ruby dev, but what makes this forum authoritative? It launched 7 months ago and the admins seem to be some random business owners? The posts have a couple of replies each? Like this feels as newsworthy as if I hosted a forum

Yes they do. Sampling is the only pseudo-random part. Models return a deterministic distribution of output tokens for a given input of tokens.

Well there's compromise that means multi-dimensional constraint optimization, and that's fine. But a lot of time what people mean by compromise is they compromised on cost, or on effort, or on attentiveness. Colloquially that'

I have not experienced this "llms dont write maintainable code narrative" I just tell it the shape of the entities and apis I want vaguely and the mental model and the output is excellent.

Weird move to release this for a company that has mostly artists as customers but they were already kind of persona non grata for other reasons.

I shipped this shader based video compositor as part of a bigger project ive been working on since before LLMs but the compositor was 100% ai and it works fantastically. It's not a huge project but I and a number of my users use it. h

I don't think they bought them just for the claude-code gui harness as it is now. it's to have strategic control over some software runtime they can use to do other things related to verification, deployment, and end to end value

Hadn't heard of this before but its a cool idea. I often take my own little "programming retreats" and go to another city for a week and work out of a nice coworking space for a sense of focus and engagement with my work.
