Indeed. However, Big Mac does not cost you $10,000. In contrast, something like Comma.ai is open-source and even the complete kit that's compatible with almost any car is like $2k and they don't claim to be "Full Self Driving

Paywalled. Is there a link without the paywall? I used to have 12ft.io but that stopped working too.

Privacy? Uh- they just had a tracker in their email from AWS. And my blocker already had awstrack in its blacklist so I had to temporarily disable that just so I could register.

I tried Bearblog once, I liked it. However, I've shifted to using Notion as my blog since then. The options I've tried so far are: 1. Using Next.js to render my Notion blog. Goes on a custom domain. Hosted on Vercel. 2. Using work

This is not understood well until one actually invests in a simple setup. And, I am so glad I did. I can genuinely work all day sitting comfortably in my chair with a three monitor setup with a keyboard at a proper distance if I have to.

I run this with two friends of mine. We’re a bunch of indie devs working together. It’s a team of 3 part-time devs. And, no, I won’t resell your data. If this doesn’t work out, I’ll purge the database. It’s completely free to use, currently

Age-group, not the exact age. That’s because we are not just giving away invites at once to everyone who requests for one. I’m making cohorts to give invites in and age-group is for helping define the best demographic for this product.

Hey, we’ve thought about the ability to add terms but emphasis needs to be placed on the fact, that as of now, this is still an experiment our small team of 3 (part-time devs) is running and providing mediation from our end would be tiresom

This was primarily built with “hackers” (in terms of building quick and for fun) in mind. Also, your side project can be open-source or commercial, that’s entirely up to you. The platform is just a place to collaborate and find other develo

Oh it’s completely opt-in. It’s just once a week for those who want it and with enough users, there are always developers at some point who are interested in meeting someone new for the week. The projects, however, are always open to start

The signup page is actually rendering an embedded Airtable form. What are your screen dimensions? I used it on iPhone 12 Mini and it didn’t have those issues. Perhaps, I’m missing something.

Currently facing issues with this. I'm having to ask for more permissions than I need. For instance, to access: read:org (need this to list all repos of an org user is in/has created), I need the- admin:org scope whi

I’m building an “app” using the low-JS approach with HTMX and Alpine (Django back-end) and it seems to give a more hybrid experience.

I started working on the project (one that I'm currently working on) around the beginning of 2021. I stopped though after a month because the alpha version I made looked terrible (and got some mean reviews on places) and I thought may

True. There should be a simpler mechanism. In case of stocks, there exists the balance sheet but there should be something simpler yet more informative. For instance, the regular watchlist we have (on Yahoo Finance) with a couple more data

More interested in how it works than what it does later with that mechanism. Also, this is great but it'd be helpful to add "employees hired" (not necessarily by the same companies that are laying off) since March 2020 too to
