No need to speculate, if you follow the GitHub link you'll see that the project is older than 2017.

From your description it sounds like these decorators are an alternative to type annotations? Mind showing how these decorators look and work? I'm also building a language, and always interested in seeing novel features like these :).

I don't get what's so hard to understand about his point. There are more people and more Linux users in Europe, but each of those people has (way) less disposable income (money left over to spend on luxury goods) than Americans. T

The point is that you have no idea whether fault lies with Apple in this case or not. Yet you seem to immediately assume and insinuate incompetence of the GP who was, as they already said, just sharing his experience. These types of comment

What settings are you referring to? VSCode's settings (both main and extensions) have a GUI view. The compile_commands.json is always generated and not meant to be edited at all.

Sure! I use CMake for all my projects, and passing "-D CMAKE_EXPORT_COMPILE_COMMANDS=ON" generates the compile_commands.json for clangd. I create a symlink to it in the main project folder so clangd can find it. Clangd embeds clan

I'd recommend using clangd together with the vscode-clangd extension instead of VSCode's "official" C/C++ extension. Properly set up with a compile_commands.json and its pretty much better than any C/C++ IDE I&
