I think I finally fixed this problem. http://groups.google.com/group/HAppS/browse_thread/thread/cf... Basically it was a lazy io issue in haskell, fix was using a strict version of readFile for templates. Hope it stays up now!

I shoulda said, if you have a B.A. and not a B.S.. (IE, a degree in some kind of science, rather than a humanity. The OP was a history major if I recall correctly.

I totally agree. It's not really a "minor detail." There's a "getting organized" thread on the happs googlegroup about this at the moment, and I really hope it bears fruit. This should be done via haddock of course, but haddock won't build

I think Stevie King is different . Tommyknockers, which he wrote when going through one of the worst addictive periods, is horrible in my opinion. I suspect it's better if you're snorting. Obviously though, other stuff from the early years

Yeah, odesk.com, priyanka at smartbuzz has done some work for me. pretty straightforward. There's lots of other contractors there too that will bid on your project. It is a little weird to use these contracting websites the first time, but

If you want to be a web programmer, start building web apps. The obvious thing is to get good at ruby. But I would say, have a look at haskell, and happstutorial.com. hanging out in haskell cafe, a certain amount of CS is likely to just rub

you're probably not going to get hired at google without some kind of degree in computer science. maybe you should do a long-distance course in CS. fern uni hagen has one that I considered.
