They are utterly confused about "privacy". Allowing someone ELSE deleting MY messages on MY device is bordering on insanity. I have a small theory about why they chose to do that. Telegram is the de facto messenger for cryptocurre

I don't understand why you think 3000$ per seat is asking too much. If there's a market for cheaper products just build it. After putting in the work, you might actually think 3000$ is cheap. I have never used IDA Pro but maybe th

Well I am interested in lite websites as well but this list contains about 20 links with roughly half that aren't "lite versions of websites". I am just wondering why this is the topmost story.

Why is this the top voted story barely 40 minutes after submission? Are people really excited for 20 links, most of which aren't even "lite" websites? Every now and then there's an odd top story on HN which makes me wond

This is surprising. When did you last try it? A fresh install of 6.4 feels very lean and mean although a little sluggish when browsing the web for example. OpenBSD just feels really solid and simple, but powerful if you want it to be. The w

OpenBSD if you don't mind the performance hit. It does feel a little bit slower when browsing the web for example. I don't mind. The installation is very quick and then it just work on my t470. Documentation is excellent. Try it.

My only experience with Go was around 2012-2013. It was fun, but I did not bother sticking with it. The forced directory structure was a little bit annoying and I found myself writing interfaces for everything. I'm sure people will say

This is possible as long as precipitations are large enough. I would think this is still firmly an "if" proposition. At first glance it does not seem obvious at all that the water cycle as we know it will be recognisable in 100 ye

Noobermin mentioned that OP compares a power vs an intensity (different units). OP suggests that THz radiation is ionizing - it is not. OP maintains that a lightbulb emits "10-100x" more radiation than a cellphone - at what freque

You could have a point if you put a little bit more effort into your rant. As it stands you are making a couple of factual errors, as others noted. THz is non-ionizing, for one.

I am still not sure about the $5k. Why not $15k, which is what someone working minimum wage should expect to earn in a year? The target population seems to be people who come from poorer backgrounds. $5k can be a lot of money for someone ma
