Its interesting that the latency in the example from GCP to AWS is all the worse than AWS to GCP. Does anyone know the reason? The biggest argument for GCP is mostly their really great network.

If you have no business in EU this law is not for you and you can ignore it. If you're in the EU you may get a fine if you're unlucky.

There are no standard losless jpegs. Even a quality of 100% will introduce loss. Only JPEG2000 is lossless, but unsupported for the web because of patent claims.

What is the difference between XHR-inject and FETCH-inject? Isn't it that the second simply uses the fetch api and is more modern? But everything could be done with XHR too?

Can't wait for their server counterparts. Will be interesting to compare them to Intel at their slightly lower performance but much lesser cost.

Think of it as a write-back cache to sliw HDDs. You will be able to have very fast consistent DURABLE cache writes which will be written back async to slow HDDs. 32GB is more than enough for this case. Or your filesystem caching often reque

Optane menory is a really nice solution for write-back caches to slow HDDs (e.g. ZFS Slog, bcache, ...). Or a cache for often-requested HDD blocks which didn't fit anymore to RAM (ZFS L2ARC).

Take a look again. Each of those Frameworks is using a template engine which is escaping any ouput by default. If you do not need escaping, you have to opt-out for single outputs.

The fault in your argumentation is comparing a language (PHP) to a framework (Django, Jinja, Rails). Your argument is valid too for any PHP framework, it's hard to do XSS in laravel, symfony or zend framework.

CitusDB (not Citus Cloud) is not fully automated: You can have only one master node, if this node fails you have to manually elect a new master node. So it really does not gain anything compared to stock postgresql for HA.

The problem with such a tree optimization is that you will only find a locally best solution. If compressor1 generates the smallest result in step 1 all other compressors will only try to minimize this result. But maybe the compressor did s
