How the fuck? I go to ridiculous lengths to avoid using JS for anything critical (ya know, like SITE STRUCTURE!), and then these people waltz in....

Obviously not. The problem is that when a big, well-known company takes an anti-science stance like this, it persuades ignorant people.

I struggle to see why Bethesda has any say at all. They need Valve/Steam more than Valve/Steam need Bethesda. What, are they going to launch their own paid mod system? Who would waste their time with that? Seems to me like Valve h

Yet people (primarily redditors) were swearing up and down that our complaints meant nothing and that we were wasting our time and that Valve only cared about money. Like seriously, have those people been paying attention? If anybody is g

Any idea when we can expect that feature in a regular release of FF? And any idea if it'll be enabled by default (doubt it, but I can dream)

Other people have no reason to group with you though. Everyone is perfectly content doing their own thing and will often outright decline party invites. The only place this was ever not the case was on Mist's daily island. I would hard

WoW handles questing/grouping terribly, imo. GW2 (and maybe GW1? Never played it) does auto groups where if you jump in and help someone kill those 20 bandits, you get credit toward your quest for that. Whereas in WoW, if someone hits

More like WoW's world > Guild Wars' world. In terms of gameplay, I definitely prefer GW. In terms of story, world, characters, Wow blows it out of the water. I just struggle to care about anything that's going on in Tyria

But when an app is the official embodiment of X, you'd really expect that to go first. If Apple were actively trying to get rid of Pebble-friendly apps, I would think the main/official Pebble app would be first to go. None of this

It does belong because the claim is that Apple is actively denying apps that support Pebble (which is not true). If Apple were doing that, they'd have taken down the official Pebble app entirely. You're muddying the entire discuss

Can't say I'm surprised considering every single major OS has its own cloud service. Why would Apple, MS, Google help people not use iCloud, OneDrive, and Google Drive?

This has nothing to do with the (blatantly) false title or claim though. Apple is not trying to remove Pebble-supporting apps. The dev of a single Pebble-supporting app violated the rules and their app as rejected accordingly. Whether or

Really depends on the business and their clients. If you've got a lot of corporate clients stuck on IE8/9, why disenfranchise them? Although I will say this has me re-considering flex.

I tend to be my own worst enemy when it comes to these things. I hit a roadblock, feel like an idiot, then beat myself up over it. What helps me is looking back at the kind of developer I was a year, 2 years, 5 years ago. It has been long,

What do you mean by "support winxp"? Websites are pretty OS agnostic. Do you mean they aren't compatible with IE6? Can't really test it currently, but I can't imagine these sites would work in the latest Firefox on
