   That sounds like another language, or some sort of javascript processor that would wrap all functions and variables with magic... I haven't personally heard of anything like that, and can imagine lots of drawbacks (mostly about memory)

    Yep, they still do that. I run into a few of these videos every now and then. It tells me to "save to 'watch later' playlist to watch on your pc".
