The poorer they get, more reason to get rid of the leaders. And that is something only the people can do. Anyway, I can't justify it with what I know and what we hear almost daily now.

Nothing unexpected for the 2016 Turkey. With everything that goes on in there now, it won't be too long until something really horrible happens. Boycott everything turkish is the only thing we can do as normal persons I guess. That is

I just listened to a podcast that touched this topic, an interview with David Nutt, seems like he does similar research over in the UK. It's a Swedish podcast but not that much in this episode, the interview starts 14 minutes in: http

As I see it, this has the potential of being a disaster for certain groups of people in the society. Old and poor. And there are no free solutions, you have to spend to spend. The old paypal tax but on every purchase you do. There are probl

I've tried a bunch of file managers but I'm not really happy with any of them. I tend to go with the least annoying alternative when I choose among Linux desktop programs (because they are all pretty horrible), in the file manager

My main reason to why stuff gets done faster when I'm in vim is because I am in the terminal anyway. Compared to one virtual desktop with a browser if you're doing web, one with some editor, and one with a terminal to run some bui

This sure looks nice. My problem with nice looking Linux is that I becomes too limited and I get forced into habits that I don't like. Now all I use is bspwm, no status bars or anything, a lot of times I miss having something good look

Tmux recently merged a PR adding 24-bit colour, I'm a lot happier with the colours now. I think it will be in the next release if it's not out already. https://github.com/tmux/tmux/pull/112

It's clearly a step up from 1080p at a distance of about 3,5 - 4 meters at least. But then, a lot of it is the difference of a 5 year old 40" vs. a new 55" tv. The beginning of "Narcos" is filmed from a helicopter d
