It's an editor, just one that you can program in JavaScript. Remember WordPerfect? When you press F12 in Firefox, you have essentially the same thing as the reveal codes pane in WP.

If this is idiomatic zig, functions must be expensive because it fails horribly in the DRY departement. Also, papering over exceptions everywhere by... catching and not handling exceptions. What could possibly go wrong?

It should be a choice. They were or nearly were convicted for being a monopoly. For most users, they're not even aware there's a hardware/software distiction. MS-Windows GUI has cashed on this unawareness since 95. "My C

Also, disabling drivers from windows update is enforceable with group policy (iirc). The BSDs have config, Linux can run without module support.

And before anyone goes "but I can't patch that!", all it takes is one clever guy to write the patch. This is also why the bazaar model of Linux distributions is beneficial. You get more choice.

I remember when online used to mean the I/O device is listening to the cable that's connected. (So in a way, email could be used offline with IPoAC.)

The whole thing boils down to creating objects (the constructor is built-in) and using functions on objects. Functions are objects, too. In fact, everything except primitive values are objects. IMHO knowledge of C++, Python, or pretty much

An uphill battle. IMHO it's okay to assume users have brains and they can figure out the difference between facts and jokes just fine.

It doesn't have to be boring if you challenge yourself just enough to make something neat. But I can pretty much guarantee it can get tedious and ungrateful. On top of that, you're not getting paid. I know I can't afford to l

Nah, just add your own directories to storage. I've always done it that way and it works just fine.

You can add directories to the storage, including ones in your home directory. Generic is actually the default option, all you have to do is to disable auto-detection. It's fine to run qemu directly, but virt-manager ain't bad.

I started by looking at the dependencies. Then I lost count, so I ran wc -l Cargo.lock 1467 Cargo.lock Easily over a thousand dependencies. And "rewritten in Rust" is supposed to be a good thing? I bet this doesn't ev

When more code is written, more bugs are written. Or, if the act of debugging is removing the bugs from software, then the act of programming is to put the bugs in the software.

I, for one, wouldn't care if Kanye West or his aunt or her neigbours dog came up with a good encryption algo. If it's good, it's good no matter who wrote it. Appeals to authority or the lack thereof draws attention away from
