I'm a T1D and I mostly agree with the author. I think this simulation is very interesting. I disagree with the author however on the following point: "injecting insulin ~15min before you start eating would do wonders for neutraliz

That is true. But is it really a storage problem? Could you not store in whatever base-N arithmetic that has high encoding density, and "just" use the words for display/printing and such? Probably it is more a problem of rest

I don't like that your comment and the parent both got negative reviews. It is a valid contrarian question. However I would suggest researching about cirrhosis and fatty liver in children. It is a new disease that was unknown up until

I did not mean to offend you. If I came across as policing, that was not my intention. I apologize. I don't know anything. That's basically the problem. Based on what OP writes, I'm taking wild guesses at what is really going

There are people TRAINED to get other people back on track. These are called social workers. How do I know my well-meaning advice will not push this person further down? We don't know the author of this post, we are making wild assumpt

I'm sorry, but what you just wrote makes very little sense for anyone reading this. Please consider contacting a social worker. HN cannot help you with this type of issue.

Are your physical disabilities the reason that you cannot keep doing your current job for 2 more years? Or is the job in itself too stressful/demanding, regardless of disability? Because if you are still OK doing data science, I would

Look up Boyan Slat. He is an inventor born in 1994, so fairly young. He invented devices to collect the plastics floating in the oceans and rivers.
