Redis changed from AGPL to Apache 2 with something they called a Commons Clause, then finally to Redis Source Available License because of cloud providers. Don't really know exactly which event triggered the change, though. I suppose i

The problem is that it is not truly impossible to integrate into a commercial company. It's more that the license practically requires a lawyer to look at exactly how it'll be used and approve that use. AWS certainly does not shy

Yeah, Redox is a completely new, from scratch, OS written in Rust. Ironically, even the libc is written in Rust. It (occasionally) runs on real hardware, and I believe they're pretty close to bootstrapping, although lack of a browser i

So it's a signed executable, running in a sandbox, served from a federated app store... Isn't the whole JS/CSS/HTML web crap a bit overcomplicated for this purpose?

I think DisplayPort is not mentioned because Nvidia hasn't upgraded their cards to 2.0. Super disappointing. 4k/144Hz/HDR is enough for now, to be honest, but DP2 can do 84/144Hz/HDR as long as it has DSC, 244Hz wit
