I'm not sure what you mean. 4gb is 31-bits (<4 bytes) of address space. If each page had 32K of address space (15 bits), that would require 64K different pages, which just requires the remaining 16 bits of the 31 bits to identify it

I didn't bump up against "stackers" but I certainly did bump up against the post pretty explicitly saying their community members were not their customers. (I assume their advertisers are).

I must have a different meaning for the word minimal. I get what this gallery is going for and kudos to the site and lots of the designs, but it ain't showcasing "minimal" in my book. :)

I checked with them and they said they only do full rack colo and perhaps you are going through a reseller. Is that the case and if so can you provide details? I'm interested.

I've been working on a similar project and if you're up for it, would love to talk to you in more depth about your project if you're game. I've been eying up the newer Apollo4 (having recently ordered the devkit to exper

Force yourself to use it exclusively for a while, no cheating. For better (it's great) AND worse (you have fewer options for laptops), there's no going back after that. I love it and even use Trackpoint with my desktop computer.

If I read this correctly, basically if someone acquires 15% of the stock, then all of the other shareholders have to option to buy more stock at half-price. Is that correct? Where do these shares come from--are they just considered newly mi

I've never owned anything but a dumb TV so excuse what probably is a dumb question but if you buy a smart TV is there a reason you have to use the "smart" features? Why not just never connect it to the network? (Then use an e

Those batteries fail and leak all over the board around them, destroying traces and components. These aren't your typical lithium coin cell batteries that are very good at not leaking. When a leak happens, even if you can fix/repl

It's a huge topic. It misses important American stuff too. For example, no mention of the third member of the 1977 Trinity--the TRS-80 (although the CoCo is mentioned in the Commodore section). But very nice for what it does cover! EDI

Ummm...BMJ is close to the very definition of 'elites' with regard to medicine. This circumstance goes against the typical complaints of things being as simple as "elites controlling the narrative."
