Or in the case of a citizen of said country it’s, “you want to return home, play by our border rules, and btw you have no citizen rights because the border isn’t the country.”

Bullshit. Facebook capitulated and have access. No doubt. They made backroom deals. Call me paranoid, but if the government wants something, there’s honestly little anyone can do about it.

That's terrible, seriously. If it were up to me, I would move to east Asia and continue this project in Hong Kong or China or some place where this sort of thing happens all the time.

Damn. They don’t do this in China unless you are leaving/entering the country. At that point they take your photo and fingerprints. If America is starting to do this, then for sure China will at some point.

I'm really interested in trying it out, but I live in mainland China right now. Have no idea who I could even contact about getting some, even in places like Taiwan or Thailand.

Funny startup idea: buy a bunch of real estate in those areas, then rent out capsule homes for a hundred bucks a month. Stuff them into these overpriced homes and take a bunch of cash-strapped renters away from those that are pushing the re

Apparantly the author hasn’t flown much if he thinks it’s a “harrowing experience “. I hate flying simply because it’s annoying. The only time I actually enjoyed flying was when I was in the Navy. I upgrade to business or first class as oft

iPhone 5s was the perfect size for me (I guess that's the SE now). But I've been using the iPhone 6s for the past few years and like it. I don't see myself replacing it anytime soon since it works just fine the way it is. The

I currently make about 24k a year as a part time engineer (which should go up to around 40k if I go full time for this company). I stay because of other benefits (good health care in Japan, remote work with bimonthly meetings, and most impo

So... this is just the start. You know the next step is the government taking control over what tech companies can do when it comes to dissemination of information. I'm gonna say it now: In 20 years, large tech companies in the States

My current project uses Postgresql along with pipelineDB. It's great for handling a lot of data, but I don't pretend to fully understand it. I'm focused on front-end, but my job naturally needs me to learn at least the basics
